Position Summary:

The world’s largest manufacturer of conveyorized car wash equipment and controls systems is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the company by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. For this role, you must have a deep understanding of both business operations and system functionalities, to ensure that business requirements are clearly communicated and effectively implemented in the company’s technology systems. We are looking for a product-oriented individual who will be collaborating constantly with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams in the planning and execution of high-value software development projects.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field/experience.
  • 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Background in Quality Assurance (as a plus).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, objectives, and constraints.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that they align with business goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for proposed solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business and development teams, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and requirements.
  • Assist in the design and development of technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Review and validate technical designs and specifications.
  • Participate in project planning and coordination efforts, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Monitor and report on product progress, properly identifying, managing, and addressing issues and risks.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback with development teams.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop and update project and product documentation, requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
  • Develop training materials as needed and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
