Responsibilities

The Mine Engineer will provide technical support to all levels of the organization. The role will involve a variety of tasks and projects, including project estimation, planning, design, cost analysis, acquisition diligence, equipment evaluation, equipment selection, and productivity optimization. The Mine Engineer will also help measure and report project progress, assist with the Company’s aerial drone survey program, and support efforts for continuous improvement.

Position based in Mesa, AZ.

Basic Job Requirements

• Five (5) years related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in mining or civil engineering, construction management, or another engineering or technical field from an accredited university
• Experience with mine planning software such as AutoCAD, Carlson, and Mine Plan.
• Experience with drone survey tools and software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet all required deadlines.
• A good understanding of safety and the environment and the desire to follow all established procedures are required.
• Displays sound judgment when deciding among multiple alternatives
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on multiple projects in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills and communication with peers, management, and clients
• Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within the Company and with customers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground
