Production Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Plastic Recycling. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing a team, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of our plastic recycling plant.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production team activities to meet production targets and quality standards
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to food industry regulations
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and safety protocols
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues promptly
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of production supplies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Strong understanding of basic math for production calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to oversee machinery operations
- Experience in the recycling of polymers, preferably in a manufacturing environment
