Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our medical practice. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for healthcare and want to make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Duties:

- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient examinations, lab tests, and medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams, treatments, and procedures by collecting and recording medical history and vital signs.
- Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct routine medical tests and procedures, such as blood pressure checks.
- Document patient information and medical histories.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and health-related topics.
- Perform phlebotomy and other medical procedures.
- Assist with patient intake and scheduling.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide urgent care and emergency services as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control standards.
- Perform basic life support as needed.

Skills:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to provide patient care with a focus on comfort, dignity, and compassion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. BILINGUAL : SPANISH AND ENGLISH (ADDED ADVANTAGE)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
