Rapid City Counseling Inc. is Hiring a Mental Health Group Practice Office Manager Near Rapid, SD

Summary

Rapid City Counselors Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our group mental health practice, assisting in delivering high-quality care to clients. This role includes overseeing administrative staff, preforming billing and insurance processes, credentialing clinicians with insurance companies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficiency
  • Compile training documentation and materials to fulfill protocols
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
  • Provide staff support to providers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate staff meetings and facilitate communication between providers and administrators.
  • Oversee the insurance credentialing process for providers
  • Develop and maintain insurance company relationships
  • Oversee the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and rejections.
  • Implement and monitor billing policies and procedures to maximize revenue and reduce claim denials.
  • Address client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by monitoring service quality and implementing improvements as needed
  • Oversee the client intake and discharge processes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client information, billing data, and clinician credentials.
  • Utilize practice management software and other tools to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with greater than two years as an office manager -or-
  • BS/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience as an office manager, office assistant, or relevant role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Detailed knowledge of insurance billing procedures and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite Products
  • Knowledge of medical billing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
