Job Position: Automation Technician

Location: Janesvilel, WI 53546

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Description:

We are currently hiring for an automation technician in Janesville, WI to join an international automotive part manufacturer who ensures the safety of all employees within their workplace. We are looking for engineers that understand how the software is written, the urgency, logic, and bypasses with the ability to start from ground zero regarding programming and installations. This is a second shift position working Sunday through Thursday from 10:50 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Automation Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vision systems issues on the floor.
• Program Allen Bradley PLCs utilizing ladder logic.
• Upgrade and upkeep automated systems already in place.
• Automation Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• 3 years of experience as an Automation Technician, or other relevant experience
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Understanding of HMI/PLC programming and debugging
• Knowledgeable in Fanuc and Wittmann robotics
• Preferred experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500, 5000, and Studio 5000 programming

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.14 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
