Rappahannock Oyster Bar is looking for professional, energetic hosts that bring great energy and hospitality to our DC Wharf location. We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry and possess excellent customer service skills.

Duties include:

• Greet guests as soon as they walk through the door
• Providing exceptional guest service
• Maintaining a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Familiarity with OpenTable Guest Center is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of guest relations and guest services
- Proficient in phone etiquette
- Basic understanding of food service operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
