Rapunzel Creative is a full-service marketing agency that helps companies build innovative brands and boost sales through results-driven advertising campaigns, and digital marketing. We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals, while supporting the efforts of our team members. This is a freelance, part-time, remote position. Prefer candidates in Eastern or Central time zones.

Requirements: 

• 5 years experience evaluating and analyzing websites, landing pages, and copy for optimal performance
• Knowledge of WP and Google SEO best practices and ability to report on weaknesses and repairs 
• Deep knowledge of WP SEO and SEO tools like Yoast and security tools like Wordfence
• Must know Google Analytics, Google Search console
• Preferred: Experience with WP development

Responsibilities: 

• Develop website structural evaluations and SEO analysis reports using SEM Rush
• Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
• Estimate costs and manage monthly paid campaigns
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming, including long tail keyword research for blog articles
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Technical Job Requirements:

• A secure wifi signal (no hotspots)
• A secure laptop or desktop computer with firewall
• Access to Zoom with a computer camera and microphone 
• A a well-lit, professional business setting/backdrop for virtual meetings
• A computer system with Microsoft Office and a set-up that can easily and safely access Asana, Google Workspace, Loomly, Zoho, Dropbox and Slack and others



Job Type: Part-time, Remote, Freelance (with possibility of full-time hire)

Pay: Based on experience - provide hourly rate 

Hours: Flexible, M-F, but should be available for occasional client Zoom meeting
