SummaryRasa Floors is seeking temporary help to work in the field completing flooring tear-out during college turn peak season.
Hourly Rate
  • $18.00 per hour
Duration
  • June 19, 2024, through August 31, 2024
This temporary position does not include benefits except as granted on occasion or to the extent required by provision of state and/or federal law and employment will not extend beyond the stated duration.
Work Schedule
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and long shifts, including weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The FollowingTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Tear out old flooring from each unit/dorm to prepare for the installation of replacement flooring.
  • Carry out all trash from each unit/dorm.
  • Move furniture.
  • Assist with obtaining keys from the leasing office.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Flexibility to work long variable shifts.
  • Physical ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds and stand/move for the entire shift.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist to perform duties as needed.
  • Proficient communication skills: able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in the English language (bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required)
  • Detail-orientated; able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
