We are looking for a motivated, ambitious professional to join our rapidly growing organization as a PLASTICS SALES TRAINEE; part of our Commercial Development Program. Commercial Development PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONTrain and develop in all commercial aspects of our business for eventual placement in B2B technical sales as an Account Manager. Training will be up to 8-10 months and will consist of specific instruction and exposure to Customer Service, Purchasing, Product Coordination and Management, Inventory, Logistics, Credit, Quality and Regulatory.You will spend approximately 10-12 months training in person at the Ravago Americas HQ in Orlando, FL then be relocated to a region of the US based on current business need. After training is complete you will not be working in the greater Orlando area. In addition to learning our internal operations (customer service, purchasing, etc.). trainees will be shadowing sellers on customer sales calls, making technical service visits with product management and interfacing with vendors. This includes blocks of time at our manufacturing plants, distribution facilities, vendor visits and customer visits requiring 20% travel. Upon successful completion of our COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CDP), the Trainee will be assigned to a field-based Account Manager position. As part of training:Inside/outside department shadowing.One on one teaching-developing by Commercial Development Manager, bi-weekly updates on expectations of week and summarize week.Attend HQ internal department meetings and various department training seminars.Essential Functions:Develop internal relationships – building your support networkParticipate in regional sales meetings (virtually and in-person) and industry trade shows.Attend vendor plant tours for training on specific products Candidate Characteristics and Qualities:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or UniversitySome previous B2B sales experience preferred.Work Ethic / Maturity / Professionalism / Positive AttitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust possess ability to work with diverse populationsAbility to travel throughout the United States for trainingsProblem Solving and Organizational Skills
