Areas of Responsibility / TasksPerformance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
- Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority)
- Coordinates and owns the order flow across multiple departments within Bamberger Amco
- Processes customer purchase order and all related requests
- Ensures the transaction meets acceptable profit requirements and shipment deadlines
- Provides proper documentation and certifications related to the transaction
- Maintains all customer specific information within the Bamberger Amco operating system
- Follows guidelines in submitting accurate and complete requests/paperwork to other departments by appropriate deadlines
- Works in conjunctions with the Sales Representative to ensure customers are invoiced correctly at the time of shipment
- Communicates order status to customers, including backorder information, blanket order status and future order confirmations
- Assists in all proactive duties aimed at executing soft sales, managing targets and maintain current account
- Understands and communicates company policies and guidelines and
- Contributes to the team’s success by assisting with coverage during absences
- Actively problem solves by seeking better alternatives for performing assigned tasks by making rational assessment of options and reaching logical accurate conclusions from available information
- Stays up-to-date on development related to the company, profession, resources and technology
- Evaluates and makes recommendations to Management in regards to business practices
- Assists with additional projects as needed

- Experience in distribution or supply chain
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar reporting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Willingness to adapt in an evolving environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization and prioritization
- Strong analytical skills
- Innate sense of urgency that provides proactive and consistent work
- Proven ability to work well within a team and promote strong working relationships while maintaining a professional attitude and positive outlook
- Capacity to produce a large quantity of error free work in a timely fashion
- Experience in distribution and supply chain preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Licenses / Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license – required
- Language:
- Proficiency in English required
- Bi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
- Hybrid In office environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to communicate verbally, read, and comprehend information, type on a consistent and daily basis.
- Push, pull, and lift to 40lbs on a weekly basis.
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means of transportation which require sitting, waiting, and standing for long and short periods of time.
- Ability to setup desk equipment including setting up equipment on top of desks and connecting cables and power cords under desk (requiring lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).
