Role:

Provide support to both internal and external members by performing back office operational duties related to credit union products and services. Interact with members on account related matters and resolve problems via various remote delivery technologies, including e-mail, phone and video. Provide expertise with respect to more complex credit union products and services.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

1. Have above average communication, listening, and interviewing skills.

2. Have above average organizational skills.

3. Ability to operate general office equipment, such as copier, computer and other credit union

provided equipment, software and technologies.

4. Be able to handle multiple, conflicting deadlines and projects.

5. Ability to generate essential reports, interpret data, and calculate ratios including the

resolution of problems and incorrect information.

6. Properly identify acceptable forms of personal identification, with an awareness of possible

fraud and/or forgery.

7. Have knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry, including the basic processes

of other credit union departments and branches.

8. Understand negotiable instruments and the corresponding clearing processes.

9. Working knowledge of lending analysis techniques.
