Valve Technician/ Shop Hand

We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team in Conroe, Texas. The Valve Technician is responsible for the teardown, repair, assembly, and diagnostics testing of frac valves.

Essential Job Functions

• Disassembly and Assembly of repaired equipment.
• Documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities – cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc.
• Disassembly, cleanup, and evaluation of parts.
• Surface preparation and painting assemblies and parts.
• Adjust, repair, rework or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Competent using a forklift for accurate movement, locating, relocating, and storing of materials, utilizing a forklift or other power-operated equipment.
• Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
• Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic Math and reading skills.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds solo and greater weights in a team lift environment.
• Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, bending, stretching and standing for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
