Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - occasional weekends when needed

The Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair on forklifts and reach stackers. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining domain specific spare parts inventory, using computerized work order management system and efficiently communicating via phone email and text message. Candidate must be able to stay on task and follow instructions. Candidate will also be required to work on call, as needed. 

Specific Tasks:

• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Clear understanding of internal combustion engine.
• Understanding of hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting methods.
• Proficient with automotive type air conditioning systems.
• Experience with bearing replacements.
• Proficient using email and other computer-based applications.
