Duties:
- Provide instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student behavior and safety
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of individual students
- Collaborate with other staff members to support student learning and development
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with children with autism or other special needs
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and staff members
