We are a dentist recruiting firm working with a wonderful community health clinic that is seeking a full time dentist. They have a new clinic and are expanding to meet the needs of the community.
The clinic sees a mix of adults and kids. They do a wide range of procedures including extractions, endo and dentures. They are seeking a dentist to work between 3 and 5 days per week, depending on their preference. No nights and no weekends are needed.
They have an excellent team of another dentist and 3 assistants. They are hiring 2-3 hygienists now. The team all works very well togehter. The dentist can also offer excellent mentoring if needed or collaboration.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics.
• Perform dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
• Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
• Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or other dental software systems.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs.

Skills

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Valid state dental license.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience in pediatric dentistry.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality dental care.
