Raymond Handling Solutions is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator Near Ontario, CA

Raymond West is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! The Logistics/Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily delivery & pick up of the assets of RW whether it be rental, sales, service, lease returns or customer relocations. The Coordinator dispatches both Raymond Drivers and outside carriers. Responsibilities include planning, assigning carriers, directing traffic & resolving problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.
Schedules RW drivers and outside carriers for daily deliveries and pickups. Arranges permits as needed.
Quote external rates for customer moves; long distance movement; specialty carriers (i.e. enclosed vans, double drops…). Develop alternate carriers for specialty moves or unusual delivery areas.
Create Bills of Lading, Delivery & Pickup receipts.
Contact Customers, Sales Reps and RW personnel when transportation delays may result. Find alternate means of delivery if necessary.
Invoice & code all deliveries, pickups internally or directly to customer account.
Resolve Account Payable issues pertaining to transportation to ensure prompt vendor payment.
Maintain Rental files.
Run department reports and assist with various projects as needed.
Carry out other specific duties and projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments.
Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
Proficiency in understanding EBS program, or similar program
Willing to assume more responsibility as required.
Familiar with driver safety, DOT reporting, transportation regulations & city requirements.
Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Education/Experience:
Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous dispatch experience a plus.

Position is Sedentary and desk bound.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range:
The hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
