Raymond West is Hiring a Program Manager Near Santa Fe, CA

Raymond West is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to join our team! The Program Manager is a high-level leadership position with fiscal responsibility for managing a book of business that consists of multiple projects within the same category or similar categories of business. The Program Manager will oversee each project manager on project execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Program Manager also has responsibility for total project alignment in working across broad scopes that also includes vendor alignment strategy and cross-functional management.

Duties And ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.
  • Supervise staff that are assigned to the program. in an assigned area to include planning and assigning projects/tasks to staff, making hiring, separation, and disciplinary recommendations, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff development and coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff
  • Provide leadership for assigned staff.
  • Manage employee’s Time and Attendance
  • Manage the operational activities within the Systems Department.
  • Develop, organize, implement, and oversee programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure achievement of Systems Department goals
  • Render decisions with respect to key department issues impacting overall service and performance.
  • Provide input to senior leadership for annual budgets
  • Direct and prepare reports for Systems Department’s Senior leadership.
  • Participate in Company or Department projects.
  • Ensure employees and team are following all Company Policies.
  • Works closely with other departments and communicate with all levels of employees, customers, and Manufacturers
  • Correspond with Vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for overall financial health of the Systems programs.
  • Manage total project execution of the set of projects assigned to the Program Manager.
  • Engage in cross-functional leadership across multiple channels that may include other Program Managers assigned to a category.
  • Conduct weekly support team meetings to review open items and garner feedback from support staff on recurring issues.
  • Ensure that Systems Support SLAs are being met.
  • Suggest changes to Systems policies to keep alignment with operational departments.
  • Manage various projects conducted by the Systems Support staff.
  • Provide regular team and project updates to the Systems Leadership
  • Attend corporate project meetings and provide timely updates as needs dictate.
  • Provide proactive, clear, and efficient communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the support lifecycle.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent Management skills.

  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills.
  • Must be able to perform duties under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Keep current with business trends and technological innovations.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments.
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required’.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage their time and the time of others efficiently.
  • Capable of directing teams of Project Managers to ensure complete execution on time and on budget.
  • Broad understanding and experience in Project and Program Management.
  • Results-driven with ability to take initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical reasoning skills.
  • Must be able to take direction and give direction with confidence.
  • Able to communicate with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a professional attitude in all matters.
  • Willing and able to learn quickly and perform accurately with a degree of flexibility.
  • Be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education/ExperienceMinimum Education and Experience: Determined by position:
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years of related experience in Project Management
Travel Requirement
  • 20% (8 hours a week)

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range
  • The salary range for this position is $64,000 – $154,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
