Job Title: Physical Therapist - Long Term Care (LTC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in providing care for our long-term care residents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of elderly care, and a passion for improving quality of life for our seniors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Evaluate residents' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care for residents
• Document progress, communicate treatment plans, and make recommendations for ongoing care
• Provide education to residents, families, and staff members on proper body mechanics and exercises

Qualifications and Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
