Position Overview

RB Royal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and driving the successful execution of complex technical programs with a strong focus on commercial outcomes. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technical teams, sales, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and delivery of projects that contribute to our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams comprising of technical, sales, marketing, and business stakeholders to drive the execution of commercial technical programs from initiation to successful completion.

• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales and business leadership to understand market trends, customer needs, and business objectives. Translate these insights into program strategies that align technical development with commercial goals.

• Program Planning: Develop detailed program plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and budget considerations. Regularly assess and communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success. Proactively address any roadblocks or challenges that may impact timelines, quality, or commercial outcomes.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the program lifecycle. Engage with customers, partners, and vendors as necessary.

• Technical Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the programs under your purview. Collaborate with technical leads to ensure that solutions are well-designed, feasible, and meet business requirements.

• Commercial Impact: Track and measure the commercial impact of the programs, including revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. Work closely with sales teams to develop strategies for maximizing commercial success.

• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet program objectives. Coordinate with technical teams to balance competing priorities and ensure optimal resource utilization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) in technical program management, preferably with a focus on commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to engage effectively with technical teams.
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinking and a demonstrated ability to align technical efforts with business goals.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or similar are a plus.
