Roles & Responsibilities:

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. Pay Range: $20 to $25/hour

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inspect products using gauges and basic hand tools (calipers, micrometers, height gage, comparator and other metrology instruments).
- Test incoming raw materials.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- Rejects all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Identify quality issues.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- 0-3 years performing inspection on metal parts.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Good math and technical skills.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Practical experience in precision inspection equipment and calibration.
- Knowledge in aerospace materials.
- Must have daytime availability as this is a 1st Shift opening which spans from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee, generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
- The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
