Role Type: Contract

Length of Contract: 6 months, possible conversion but not a requirement or guarantee

1. Must Haves:

1. Minimum of (5) five years of experience with applying VoIP protocols, VoIP codec, Cisco Session Border Controller (SBC), and Unified Computing System (UCS) on an enterprise network.
2. Experience with Analog, Voice, and Expressway Gateways.
3. Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, SIP, QoS, DNS, and LDAP.
4. Experience with Cisco Router Voice Gateways (H.323, MGPC and SIP).
5. Familiarity with Cisco routing and switching
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Able to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
8. Must possess a valid driver's license

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Unified Communications Engineer/Senior Voice Engineer with experience Cisco voice, Cisco routing and switching and telephony systems in general. The qualified candidates must be able to manage themselves and lead others with a proven track record of customer-facing Teams Voice deployments, must have experience with Cisco UCS.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Lead the effort to consolidate voice telecommunications, networks and equipment in multiple corporate locations
2. Provide support for the telecommunications team regarding any escalations.
3. Manage or participate on complex issues impacting network infrastructure
4. Work with vendors to upgrade and consolidate voice services
5. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Cisco router, switch, firewall, UCS and voice solutions while resolving issues
6. Maintain and support the current Cisco SBC s, Teams and Cisco configurations.
7. Identify, diagnosis and resolve VoIP, and Data (Unified communications) general component issues.
8. Help us structure, plan, estimate, deliver, deploy and operate services, connectivity, and network infrastructure supporting an enterprise architecture.
9. Build technical artifacts for engineering and operational teams.
10. Provide mentoring and coach junior engineers, including providing training and support as required
11. Resolve escalated network and security support issues
