Overview:
RC Telecom is seeking to hire a Low Voltage Cable Technician as an independent contractor with at least two years of field experience to join its team. RC Telecom provides voice and data networking services to the SMB and enterprise markets in the Northern Colorado region.
As a 1099 independent contractor it is expected that you will have your own tools and transportation and are looking for work flexibility. Your role will be varied and will consist of running CAT 6 cable, fiber, as well as installing AV, door access and video surveillance systems. Work availability will be primarily during regular working hours Monday to Friday with the odd on call work.
Looking for candidates that have a strong work ethic, keen troubleshooting skills and are detailed oriented. If you are passionate about customers like we are, we want to speak with you.
Responsibilities:
As a Low Voltage Cabling Technician, your primary focus will be to run cables, terminate cables to patch panels and patch cables to networking equipment. Installation of door access, video surveillance and AV equipment is also involved. When on site you will leverage your experience in troubleshooting analog and network systems with support from head office to resolve reported client issues in a timely manner. As a candidate you must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with a strong customer service focus.
Compensation
Pay will be commensurate with relevant experience and skills. Hourly pay range is $20-$50/hr.
