Technical SEO Specialist

Salary Range: $28 - $30 per hour, dependent on experience

Schedule: Monday - Thursday in office (Salt Lake City), Friday work from home

We are looking for a capable Technical SEO Specialist to join our eCommerce team at our Corporate Office. The role involves keyword research, data analysis, and optimizing on-page content. The ideal candidate is analytically adept, detail-oriented, and keeps up with SEO trends and algorithms.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Conduct technical SEO audits, suggesting optimizations
• Implement best practices for technical SEO, focusing on speed, performance, and mobile compatibility
• Collaborate with content team to align content with SEO strategies
• Analyze website traffic, rankings, and metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Stay updated on technical SEO trends and search engine algorithms
• Coordinate with development teams to execute SEO modifications
• Develop and maintain technical SEO documentation for internal teams
• Provide technical SEO support to marketing team members
• Collaborate on landing page development and user experience enhancement
• Assess customer experience across channels using analytical skills
• Conduct monthly and quarterly website audits for technical issues and SEO opportunities
• Monitor website performance to ensure it meets goals
• Implement local SEO strategies to enhance online store visibility and performance
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience managing SEO for multi-location businesses preferred
• 3 years of digital marketing, SEO, or Search Marketing experience, emphasizing on-page, technical, and local SEO
• Proficiency in website analytics tools like Adobe or Google Analytics
• Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in relation to SEO
• Familiarity with technical SEO tools like Conductor and Screaming Frog
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SEO issues
• Profound knowledge of schema markup and URL structure management
• In-depth experience with Google Search Console
