The Senior Tax Accountant will work closely with Managers and Partners, as well as staff and clients.

Responsibilities:

Prepare business, individual and trust tax returns.

Have the initiative to learn, research and develop new tax skills.

Become familiar with the firm’s policies, procedures and technical resources.

Works well independently and part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Two or more years’ experience in public accounting – taxation.
• Current CPA license or on track to obtaining license.
• Willingness to hustle and meet deadlines while maintaining a health work/life balance.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Honesty, positivity, motivation, respect, fun, trust and teamwork.
• Executive presence and the eagerness to act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues and resolutions to clients.
• Ability to work hard and play hard in fast-paced environment.
