You and Your Job As a Quality Control (QC)/First Line Monitoring FLM Analyst you will be successful by assisting the First Line Monitoring/Quality Control Manager with quality assurance of the Sanctions Name Screening and Transaction Monitoring functions. This position will conduct quality assurance reviews on the Sanctions Name Screening and Transaction Monitoring functions to ensure that the End-to-End process is in line with current Policy and Procedures. The Analyst is experienced in reviewing fraudulent activity, suspicious/illegal behaviors and patterns as well as assists in projects focused on preventing and detecting financial crime which includes but is not limited to money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, bribery, corruption, terrorism financing, and cybercrime. Job Responsibilities Know and Comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the organization. Follow the First Line Monitoring (Quality Control) Framework to ensure adherence to local and global requirements. Act as the point of contact for quality related topics/questions for the Financial Economic Crimes (FEC) Team. Work with the First Line Monitoring/Quality Control Manager to monitor and identify trending risks At the direction of the First Line Monitoring/ Quality Control Manager, perform all actions necessary to ensure that all procedures and processes are in compliance with local and global policies Assist First Line Monitoring/ Quality Control Manager with consolidating and creating reports with the identified findings resulting from the Quality Control activities Work with the First Line Monitoring/Quality Control Manager to discuss the findings and results of the Quality Assurance activities and from time-to-time, discuss with the relevant stakeholders (including those stakeholders subject to Quality Control activities). Work closely together with the process owners to ensure the results are incorporated in any continuous improvement activities Monitor the follow up of action owners to remediate identified findings and escalates to the First Line Monitoring/Quality Control Manager in case findings are not resolved within agreed timelines. Review a sample potential match against various regulatory watch lists and conduct additional research to ascertain validity of matches Responsible for a review of a sample of manual reports and referrals to determine if a full TM review was necessary. Conduct reviews of sampled alerts related to client/transaction activity generated by the automated transaction monitoring system, manual reports or internal referrals. Your Promise to Us: To be considered for the FEC Quality Control Analyst role, you must have: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Strong BSA / AML knowledge specifically in KYC 5 years of experience in Compliance Testing, Audit, Analysis and/or KYC Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements Transaction Monitoring experience on investigative tools Understanding of banking and financial services, including an understanding of the various types of products, services, and transactions that are typical for the Branch ACAMS certification preferred but not required Analytical/Investigative skills to determine unusual or possible suspicious activity Strong organizational and time management skills Highly motivated, inquisitive in nature, problem solving thought processes Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Our Commitment to you – cultivating your way beyond pay: Rabobank embraces diversity and welcomes employees and applicants of all backgrounds. We are Growing a Better World Together. Salary Expectations: Target Hiring Range: $110,000 – $125,000 This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
