- Answer questions and/or direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Record messages for staff and send via e-mail or written message
- Record messages for students and have delivered
- Type discipline referral letters for Principal and Assistant Principal and prepare for mailing to guardians
- File copies to behavior files
- Enter purchase requisitions in accounting system
- Check in, process receipt and distribute all orders upon delivery
- Order office supplies at the beginning of year and as needed
- Track office supplies
- Verify receipt of all required student forms received at registration
- Contact students regarding missing forms and direct them to complete
- File TCAP and other assessment scores when received
- Affix student photos annually to student record files
- Sort and distribute incoming postal and interoffice mail to staff mailroom
- Deliver outgoing mail to Post Office at the end of each day
- Prepare student registration packets prior to registration day
- Collect fees and hand out paperwork to parents/students on registration day
- Greet and assist parents/visitors as needed
- Cover all aspects of attendance desk if Assistant is gone
- Supervise student assistants
- Troubleshoot copy machines
- Initiate lunch fee calls via School Messenger System (per Kitchen Mgr weekly list)

Sterling is located in Logan County in the Northeastern corner of Colorado on Interstate 76 alongside the Platte River.
