Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an On-Property Sales Coordinator. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Leisure and Transient Sales team and have a strong background within the luxury hospitality industry. As a Sales Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support our sales strategies, ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Leisure & Transient Sales Team.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of sales activities, including client meetings, site inspections, and familiarization trips.
  • Maintain and update client databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as reservations, event planning, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client requests.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the leisure market segment.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and client functions as required.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and the preparation of sales agreements.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the hotel's offerings, facilities, and services to effectively promote and sell to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales coordination or administrative role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the leisure travel market, including an understanding of travel agencies, tour operators, and luxury travel trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for client events and functions.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.

What you can expect from us:

The hourly pay range for this role is $27.50 to $28.50. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A team member’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
