Reaching Beyond Limits is Hiring an Employment Specialist Near Barre, PA

Essential Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement a job development strategy with multiple individuals.
  • Assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of individuals through various written and verbal tools.
  • Discover what motivates individuals and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace.
  • Present skills to aid individuals in job searches.
  • Assist individuals in completing a professional resume.
  • Assist individuals in learning and excelling in their job functions.
  • Create and update records and reports on progress.
  • Facilitate the best environment for our clients at the workplace by ensuring the employer/ employee relationship is transparent and accommodating.
  • Act as a public representative of Reaching Beyond Limits Employment Services. Always project the best image of our services and client interaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective and succinct written documentation.
  • Strong time-management.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to stay organized when dealing with multiple employees simultaneously.
  • Prior experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Upbeat, motivational attitude.
  • Experience with Google Suite is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in human services strongly suggested.
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, automobile insurance that meets $100,000/$300,000 liability minimum, and willingness to transport clients.
  • ACRE Certificate required (if not completed at time of hire, the candidate must take within the first nine months of employment).
