Job Purpose
As a RockCast Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing sales strategies to promote our cast stone products across multiple states. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with key clients, architects, contractors, and developers within the construction industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate target markets and achieve sales targets. Increase market share
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities within the construction industry.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels including networking events, trade shows, online platforms, and referrals.
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients in alignment with company objectives and pricing guidelines.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's cast stone products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to track progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, production, and logistics to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Assure vigorous compliance with all SOP's, company policies, procedures, performance standards and THE ROCKS (Core Values).
- Assure Region exceeds sales budget while adhering to Reading Rock's corporate objectives and Performance Standards.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferable within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry samples and promotional materials
- Salary, Commission, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid vacation and holidays
