Database Specialist

Temp-to-hire/Contract – M-F 8am-5pm (not to exceed 40 hours/week)

Reagan Smith Energy Solutions, Inc. is a third-party consulting firm specializing in the development of natural resources on lands owned or managed by the federal government. We provide turn-key land, regulatory and environmental solutions to ensure timely development of our clients' projects.

Land Scout is a subsidiary of Reagan Smith Energy Solutions, Inc. Land Scout was created to meet the need for streamlined project planning by bringing together a multitude of mapping resources. Land Scout is an ESRI ArcGIS based mapping application which enhances desktop surveys and simplifies the project siting process. Land Scout is based on-line and can be accessed from the field or office, utilizing a tablet or desktop computer.

The Database Specialist is responsible for entering, mining, and importing data into templates for the use of mapping and analyzing the data. The Database Specialist will work closely with both the Database and Mapping Departments. The Specialist will assist the Lead Database Administrator with various projects related to the Oil and Gas Industry. The Specialist should be extremely detail oriented and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Reagan Smith Energy Solutions uses Microsoft Excel for our various databases. Research and data interpretation will be expected. We need someone willing to go the extra mile. 

Experience in Administrative, Data Entry, Communications or related field, High School Diploma

• The Database Specialist will assist in creating excel database files for the Mapping Department. 

• Looking for an individual with organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• The Database Specialist will work with ALL departments including, Leasing, Permitting, Archaeology, Wildlife, & ONRR.

• Will require proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Will work with group to maintain and update Database files. 

• Entering data from various documents into Excel spreadsheets. 

• The Specialist should be skilled in oral and written communication.

• Responsible for verifying and correcting information.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
