We take pride in our commitment to excellence and are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards in our warehouse operations.
- Directing Employees: Overseeing and managing the workflow in the warehouse during the closing shift, ensuring that all required tasks are completed before the team leaves for the day.
- Physical Activities: Actively participating in various physical activities in the warehouse, including unloading trucks, preparing and staging materials for work orders, measuring, cutting, and labeling flooring products, and more.
- Inventory Management: Conducting inventory management activities such as cycle counts, physical inventory, and utilizing RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Forklift Operation: Utilizing forklifts for various warehouse tasks, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Material Handling: Loading subcontractor vehicles with materials and supplies for customer orders.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Other Duties: Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
- Leadership Experience: 1 years of prior leadership experience with direct reports or functional leadership experience.
- Warehouse Experience: 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, including inventory management, cycle counts, receiving, and related activities.
- Forklift Experience: 2 years of forklift operation experience, not required but preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and collaborate with team members.
- Detail-Oriented: A detail-oriented and organized approach to work, with strong follow-up skills.
- Adaptability: The ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in using a calculator to perform basic math functions for measuring products.
- Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and carry products weighing 50 to 75 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Forklift Certification: Forklift certification is a plus, but it is not required.
