JOB TITLE: Low-Level Software Engineer - Military Avionics

ABOUT THE JOB:

As a software engineer on this team, you will perform full life cycle software development and V&V activities associated with stores management and weapons delivery systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in DO-178 (or military equivalent) full life cycle software engineering development.
• Experience developing software for DAL B and DAL C critical systems.
• Experience developing software in RTOS environments.
• Proficient in C language software development.
• Proficient in Ada language software development.
• Experience developing Low-level software including device drivers and board support packages (BSP).
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553.
• Familiarity with Xilinx ARM processors.
• Familiarity with Xilinx toolsets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done.
• Good positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with remote team members.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Wind River VxWorks.
• Stores Management and/or Weapons Delivery product experience.
