Overview
SCCI is currently seeking an Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) Data Scientist to join our team in support of the Battle Management System (BMS), an innovative DoD program. BMS specializes in rapidly developing and deploying innovative technology solutions to outmatch the evolving threats faced by our warfighters. Responsibilities:

• Integrating sensor outputs, other software applications, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) algorithms into AR/VR environments
• Analyze real-word data to generate artificial intelligence solutions in parallel with visualization teams for virtual environments and systems to conceptualize and build custom interactive experiences and tools using the Unity or Unreal game engine
• Interacting with other technical teams, developers, data scientists, and engineers toward the goal of creating complex virtual systems

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or Statistics
• One (1) year professional technical experience analyzing data via data science tools
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or C/C
• Demonstrated proficiency with Machine Learning/Deep Learning Frameworks such as ONNX, Pytorch, Tensorflow, and Keras
• Proven skills in working with complex datasets and building statistical, machine learning, or deep learning models
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or Nvidia Omniverse

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with source code management solutions such as Git
• Understanding of application bundling via containerization employing Docker and Kubernetes
