Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares meal ingredients as directed by the head chef, senior chef, or other staff.
Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
Prepares simple dishes such as salads.
Mixes or prepares condiments, dressings, and sauces.
Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
Prepares list for F&B order of food and beverage supply as needed.
Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
Performs inventory of supplies in the café.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills :
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor
the operation areas, write and read member communications.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60
Lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 10 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending,
kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours
without sitting.

Proven experience as cook
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Very good communication skills
Excellent physical condition and stamina
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Ability to work weekends
Pay and Benefits :
$17.50 hour - $18.00 hour depending on experience and education
