Realtime Recruitment is Hiring an Office Manager - 4-month W2 contract - Boston, MA Near Boston, MA

Position: Office Manager

Contract Duration: 4 months (starting July)

Location: Boston, MA (on-site)

Hourly Rate: $20-28 per hour

Realtime Recruitment is seeking an experienced Office Manager for a 4-month contract. The client is a mature tech start-up company, based in downtown Boston. They are revolutionizing the auto-finance space, by bridging the gap of those within the United States, who would often be overlooked by traditional lending institutions.

About the role:

Are you an experienced Office Manager looking for your next contract position? Or maybe you have worked mostly full-time roles, and are in between jobs right now, a contract is a great way to fill the gap!

The ideal start date would be the beginning of July and last for 4 months (potential for extension, but no guarantees).

Responsibilities include:

  • Report office status to senior management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures.
  • Manage office supply inventory, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Process invoices and provide overall administrative assistance to executives by scheduling appointments, and meetings and managing diaries/calendars.
  • Effectively manage vendor and stakeholder relationships. Coordinate with building management and external vendors for maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of office services.
  • Assist in onboarding, manage employee records, and support HR-related activities.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for employees.
  • Organize and manage weekly office catering and happy hour events.
  • Supervise and support the office assistant: provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure team members perform their duties effectively.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support office operations.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of similar Office Managerial experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Organization and attention to detail capabilities.
  • Excellent administrative computer skills (Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, Zoom, etc)
