Job Overview:

The Photo Assistant will be integral in managing sample coordination, assisting with model casting, providing support during editorial shoots, and aiding in e-commerce photography sessions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient at multitasking, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sample Coordination:

o Manage and organize all samples and products for photo shoots.

o Ensure samples are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.

o Coordinate with the styling team to prepare samples for each shoot.

2. Casting Assistance:

o Assist in the casting process for models, including scheduling and organizing casting calls.

o Coordinate with modeling agencies, manage model portfolios and budgets.

o Maintain a database of potential models and their availability.

3. Editorial Shoot Support:

o Provide on-set support during editorial shoots, including setting up equipment, adjusting lighting, and assisting with styling.

o Help maintain a smooth workflow by managing shot lists and ensuring timely transitions between looks.

o Assist in styling and wardrobe changes as needed.

4. E-Commerce Shots Assistance:

o Assist photographers during e-commerce photo sessions.

o Ensure products are photographed accurately and consistently according to brand standards.

o Manage the flow of products being photographed, ensuring they are prepared and ready for shooting.

o Assist in post-shoot tasks, such as organizing and archiving images.

5. General Support:

o Maintain an organized and tidy studio environment.

o Assist in the maintenance and organization of photography equipment. o Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling, emailing, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

 Previous experience as a Photo Assistant or in a similar role preferred.

 Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Knowledge of photography equipment and lighting techniques.

 Familiarity with fashion and styling trends.

 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) is a plus.

 High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Education:

 A degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, Fashion, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to lift and move photography equipment.  Comfortable standing for extended periods during shoots.
