Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00

Overview:

A Telemarketer sells a variety of products, promotes campaigns, and/or sets appointments for outside sales staff. Their duties include making cold calls, persuading potential customers to make a purchase, and identifying reliable prospects, mostly through lead generation and data gathering.

• Identifying potential new account opportunities to quickly determine the appropriate product and salesperson.
• Persuading potential customers to open an account or take another kind of action using a prepared script with price quotations and additional information.
• Compiling lead data by recording current spend, names, and addresses of decision makers, as well as other important information.
• Understanding customers’ needs and determining what offerings suit them best.
• Handling complaints or questions from customers and clients.
• Gathering data on sales leads to further marketing analysis.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following protocol to keep customers’ personal information secure and adhering to quality assurance standards.
