Recourse Communications, Inc. is working with the State of South Dakota to find the most compassionate, talented, Youth Mental Health Associates in the Yankton, SD area.

You’ll work with youth 12-18 years of age to provide treatment and help stabilize youth by giving them the necessary tools to discharge.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, every other weekend. Overtime hours are available.

Here's Why You’ll be Successful!

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of one year of experience working with mentally ill individuals, or two years of college in the relevant fields (preferred).
• You have knowledge of mental illness, serious emotional disturbances, chemical dependency / substance use, crisis management, verbal and physical de-escalation skills, therapeutic communication skills, basic human behavior principles, CPR and first aid, and patient's rights.

Don’t hesitate to apply if you are a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree. Even if you have a semester left to complete your bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, or social work, let’s talk.
