• Monitors Clients in the program & provides case management services.

• Conducts and monitors drug and alcohol screenings, home visits and verifies compliance throughout the client's program.

• Maintains, updates and manages any paperwork associated with the individual

• Must be able to work in a fast- paced environment, including extensive computer data entry and processing

• Performs other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:

• Knowledge of applicable State of Tennessee statutes, rules, administrative orders, policies and procedures, applicable Federal rules and requirements.

• Knowledge of the Recovery Court program's Policy & Procedures.

• Knowledge of basic principles and practices of case management and record keeping

• Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Interest in working in specialized treatment courts.

• Skill in engaging clients who may respond negatively.

• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Client's, subordinates, peers, superiors and other professional agencies and the public

• Skill in having the ability to tactfully communicate with clients in order to establish rapport and gain their confidence, cooperation and best effort.

• Skill in establishing rapport with individuals diagnosed with mental health disorders & substance abuse disorders

• Skill in operating a computer utilizing a variety of software applications.

• Ability to work as a team player

• Must be willing to participate in mandatory trainings and complete required certifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires an Associate's Degree, or the equivalent, in Social Services, Public or Community Health,

Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field.

• May substitute experience in a Recovery Court or related field for education requirements.

• A certified peer support specialist (CPRS) certification is preferred but not required.

• A valid driver's license is required with an F endorsement or able to obtain an F endorsement.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
