As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced MANUFACTURING ENGINEER to join our 3rd Shift.

Our 3rd Shift schedule is Monday - Thursday from 7:15pm-5:45am, with daily and weekend overtime as required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage multiple engineering projects that support plant operations. These projects will range from process improvements to development and installation of new tooling.• Represent CLI in a professional manner with customers and suppliers at all levels of their organization• Active leader in problem solving analysis and developing irreversible corrective actions of quality issues• Teach, lead and continuously improve all areas of the business• Responsible to lead line balancing and process changes for current and future operations• Interface with all aspects of operations including quality, materials and maintenance• Ability to be flexible• Understand CLI operations (Sequencing/sub –assembly, shipping and receiving)• Interface with CLI plant liaisons on a daily basis regarding any issues• Follow and improve the CLI business systems• Ability to work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude• Effectively interact with, lead and develop people• Work very closely with the other engineers to ensure continuity• Customer focused• Able to work with and effectively communicate with operators on the floor as well as CLI Management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in assembly and/or manufacturing and demonstrated success as a person who solves problems.
• VAA or manufacturing experience..
• Experience with Elemental Time Studies and Value Stream Mapping.
• Understanding of assembly tooling and equipment and ROBOTICS.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
