RecruitMyMom is Hiring a Retail and Office Coordinator Near Constantia, NY

An upmarket boutique retail, fabric and textile company is looking for a Retail and Office Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-day 8:30am to 5:00 Monday to Friday in-office position. The salary is R25 000 - R32 000 CTC.
The Retail and Office Coordinator is responsible for effectively managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. It serves as a vital link between all departments, working collaboratively to drive efficiency and growth. Responsible for the day-to-day running, schedules, staff rotations and contributing to a positive work culture. 
Responsibilities:
  • Operational leadership: Lead and oversee operational functions of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance operational excellence.
  • Team Management: Manage and provide leadership to the production department, administrative staff, and sales teams. Set clear expectations, develop performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members and management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products/services and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Communication and Reporting: Regularly communicate operational updates, performance metrics, and challenges to the Managing Director.
  • Customer Focus: Promote a customer-centric approach throughout the company to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong cross-functional collaboration among departments to improve efficiency and drive business growth. Working with the retail planner, MD and marketing and store managers

Requirements

 
  • 3 years' proven experience in office management role
  • Retail and product coordination ideal
  • Team management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • Project management and organisational skills an advantage
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
