Cardiology Interventional physician job in Nebraska : Locums Kearney, Nebraska, Interventional Cardiology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

  • Coverage: 2 weeks of every month
  • Provider will be in clinic (if interested, not a deal breaker) and taking call
  • Call varies - if not on call provider will be rounding and doing procedures
  • The interventional is to help with procedures and rounds and night call at the hospital
  • Must be able to read ECHOS
  • Case volumes or patients:
    • Caths 686 - 57/month
    • EKG's 4797 - 400/month
    • Echo's 2895 - 241/month
    • Holters 445 - 37/month
    • Peripheral Vascular 418 - 35/month
    • NM 379 - 32/month
    • Cardioversions 45-50 - 4/month
  • EMR-EPIC
  • Facility Size-175 bed
  • Monday thru Friday inpatient Rounds -
  • Average Census 8-10
  • APP and Hospitalist assistance
  • Perform add on cath procedures, mainly inpatients, with an average of 8-9/week
  • Saturday and Sunday inpatient Rounds
  • Average Census 6-7
  • APP and Hospitalist Assistance
  • Call Responsibilities
  • STEMI call
  • Clinic 8-4 Monday through Friday (on days that not covering inpatient service)
  • Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - Required
  • NE license - Required or active IMLC
