At Red Lion, we're dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable moments. We're expanding our team and seeking a motivated Assistant Sales Manager to support our catering and group sales efforts.

Role Overview:

As our Assistant Sales Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting our catering and group sales initiatives under the leadership of the Sales Manager. You'll assist in developing strategies, cultivating relationships, and ensuring seamless operations for events and group bookings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, with a focus on catering and group sales.
• Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and organizations to drive catering and group sales opportunities.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and optimize performance in catering and group sales.
• Guide sales representatives in negotiations and closing deals to maximize profitability for catering and group bookings.
• Manage administrative tasks such as sales reporting, CRM updates, contract management, and event coordination for catering and group bookings.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and bookings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven track record in hospitality sales with 3 years of experience, including a focus on catering and group sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, particularly in managing client relationships for events and group bookings.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing catering and group sales operations.
• Proficiency in sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment with a passion for delivering exceptional catering and group sales experiences.
