Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is Hiring a Clinical Training Specialist I Near Oklahoma, OK
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Prepares a wide spectrum of clinical trainings appropriate to credential level; provides a wide spectrum of procedural trainings and necessary materials according to training requests in the training queue, following prescribed time deadlines and project management practices set by Director.
- Conducts training classes and assesses training and trainees' effectiveness to observe and evaluate Red Rock employee’s fidelity of the framework.
- Assists Director of Clinical Development in logging calendar dates for all trainings within the Clinical Development Department as well as coordinating dates, venue, and attendees with Human Resources (HR) and other departments as needed.
- Assists Director of Clinical Development in maintaining clear and concise records of all trainings as well as Continuing Education Unit (CEU) information for Oklahoma Boards.
- Assists Director of Clinical Development in attendance of Continuing Education Unit workshops, including agency-wide email, spreadsheet sign-up, providing certificates to attendees, maintains Board requirements.
- Uses feedback to improve training content through collaboration with respective training partners and Director of Clinical Development.
- Maintains and grows clinical and RRBHS procedural knowledge, skills and abilities appropriate to credential level.
- Prepares and completes Coaching & Consultations and video/audio trainings as needed, providing necessary information to the Training Department and the Quality Assurance Program (QAP).
- Assists Director of Clinical Development as needed on the Avatar Training Team. Retains current knowledge of preparing the necessary paperwork and virtual details for Avatar Trainings and OrderConnect Trainings.
- Assists Director of Clinical Development in maintaining cohesiveness between the Clinical Development Department and QAP to provide consistency in response to all Red Rock employee questions and concerns.
- Assists Director of Clinical Development in training new hires according to their Clinical Development Pathway.
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality regarding trainee outcomes.
- Attends monthly Clinical Development Department Team meetings and QAP joint meetings
- Supports and assists the Training Team Coordinator in ability to train all Avatar workshops and being backup trainer for all Avatar sessions
- Uses feedback to improve training content through collaboration with respective training partners and Training Team Coordinator
- Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor degree in mental health or related field
- Experience in Behavioral Health is required; direct service experience preferred
- Outstanding training skills: presentation, teaching and coaching and time management skills
- Excellent grammar and verbal skills
