Job Description:
The Community Manager position is responsible for maximizing net operating income through cost control, maintain high occupancy levels and develop marketing plans, provide timely operational and financial data to the Regional Manager, manage, and train the on-site team, enforcing policies and setting standards, conduct team meetings for inspiration and direction. Ensure property safety and functionality. Schedule vendors for unit preparation and conduct regular inspections, and complete market surveys and analysis.
The role requires physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional climbing, and extended computer and phone use. Attendance may be required on nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as active participation in company events. Essential skills include handling high-stress situations and demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication, and collection skills. Bi-Lingual - English / Spanish a must. Strong administrative and organizational abilities, effective time management and customer service orientation. Sales background and knowledge of fair housing laws. Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with software programs such as Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, and Resident Check is preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional development through company's education programs. High school education or equivalent is required. CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certifications are preferred but not required. Proficiency in intermediate mathematics and resident management software. Minimum two years of Property Manager experience in the Multifamily Industry is required.
