Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs. If you have a passion for eye care and enjoy helping others, we want to hear from you. Duties: - Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, frames, and lenses - Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists - Take accurate measurements for eyewear fittings - Educate patients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Maintain accurate patient records and information - Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion Requirements: - Experience working as an Optician preferred - Knowledge of medical records, pediatric eye care, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, senior eye care, and sales - Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems - Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy - Strong retail math skills for transactions and inventory management Join our team and help individuals achieve optimal vision health through personalized care and attention to detail.
