As a Host and Cashier at Redbird, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests both at the front door and checkout counter.

Responsibilities:

Host Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant
• Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Monitor dining room activity and anticipate guests' needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host station area

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
• Provide friendly and helpful service to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host, cashier, or in a customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and multitask effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and seating arrangements
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
