Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Physical Therapist Duties Include:

  • Uses therapies including physical exercise, manual techniques
  • Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, families and other health care team members
  • Documents results of individual patient's assessments, treatments and termination of services
  • Adapts/modifies patient's individualized physical therapy treatment plan to meet the needs of the patient
  • Reviews the quality and appropriateness of the physical therapy visits delivered for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provides physical therapy treatment in accordance with established standards of practice
  • Demonstrates flexibility in visit scheduling and patient assignments
  • Documents measurable objective data related to patient's function
  • Communicates in a positive, clear, professional manner with patients, families and other healthcare team members, especially when providing education
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently
  • Attends and participates in scheduled training, education classes and meetings as required
  • Responds timely to patients, family members and other healthcare team members
  • Collaborates with other team members to meet the ongoing needs of the patients
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing situations
