Collects and accessions specimens, prepares slides for histologic diagnosis utilizing paraffin and frozen sections techniques. Assists with Fine Needle Aspirations and prepares cytopathology specimens using centrifuge and ThinPrep techniques. Performs routine, special stains, and Immunohistochemical procedures. Assists with Bone Marrow collection. Operates and maintains Histology and Cytology instrumentation. Uses various computer programs to accession, order, and verify test orders

-HT (ASCP) or eligible, HTL (ASCP) or eligible, with one year histology experience; or

-MT (HEW) or MLS/MLT(ASCP) with two years histology laboratory experience.
